Awards and Grants given by DTTG

Since 2006 the DTTG members meeting awards excellent scientist in clay science and/or outstanding promoters of the DTTG with The DTTG's Honorary Membership.

The DTTG gives the Gerhard-Lagaly-Award of the DTTG to internationally excellent scientists in the field of clay mineralogy. The prize has the character of a "midcareer award" and is internationally open. The award is designated after the internationally highly recognized clay scientist and the distinguished member of the DTTG, Professor Dr. Dr. Gerhard Lagaly.

The Karl-Jasmund-Award is to provide incentive and recognition of young academics for highly-qualified clay research. The award is designated after the internationally respected scientist and senior of the German clay mineral research, an initial member of the DTTG, Professor Dr. Karl Jasmund.
